Changing Lives Through the Power of the Horse
People come to Horses Healing Hearts for different reasons. Some are looking for connection or confidence. Others miss a sense of purpose, need time with family, or simply want a place where they feel safe, one like home, where they can be themselves.
Here, they are welcomed by name. They get to know our horses, our other animals, and the people beside them. Over time, those familiar faces can become a community they look forward to seeing again.

Horses Healing Hearts envisions a world where both horses and humans find second chances and renewed purpose through connection, empowerment, and growth. We strives to be a place where people gain strength, confidence, and belonging and where horses find safety, care, and meaningful partnership.
Through empathy, education, and the horse–human bond, we’re building a community that welcomes individuals from all walks of life, veterans, first responders, children in foster care, men, women and seniors - a place where healing happens naturally as humans and horses work together, building trust, confidence, and connection that lasts a lifetime.
New Addition
Expanding Our Circle of Hope
We recently welcomed "Hope" a Great Pyrenees puppy into our program. Now 17 months old, she has become a calm and comforting presence for the people we serve, including veterans, seniors, and children. Through gentle companionship and quiet connection, she helps reduce anxiety and stress while offering a sense of safety, reassurance, and belonging.
Whether sitting alongside a veteran, greeting a child with a soft nuzzle, or providing steady comfort to a senior participant, she plays a meaningful role in creating the nurturing, trauma-informed environment at the heart of our work.
